Tony Hartzog

Tony is a self-taught musician whose love for music and musicianship began at a very young age in Queens, NY.  Upon his relocation to the Capital Region, Tony began to make a name for himself through the local churches, colleges/universities, festivals, and the wedding scene, setting the stage for him to become one of the most sought after musicians in the upstate tri-city area. Since that time, Tony has become an accomplished singer, songwriter and pianist, whose versatility has afforded him the opportunity to work with and open up for multiple recording artist’s locally and abroad. Tony has also toured with the likes of National Recording Artists, Jocelyn & Chris Ardnt as seen on NBC’s Today Show both on the local and national level. In addition to honing and bettering his craft, Tony has dedicated himself to helping local up and coming musicians and artists be the best they can be on and off of the stage across the Capital Region and beyond.

Gracie Lineham

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Gracie Lineham is a pianist/keyboardist, vocalist, producer, singer/songwriter, recording engineer and visual artist currently based in the city of Albany, NY.  By the age of 7 year old, she was teaching herself how to read music as well as singing and writing her own songs, later to be introduced to formal classical piano lessons. In high school she was exposed to more jazz, gospel, and contemporary music through concert choir and jazz ensemble. By senior year, her musical career included classical piano performances at Eastman recital halls to Jazz Ensemble performances at the Rochester Jazz Festival, Choir performances at City Hall broadcasted on "WXXI", to original compositions performed at local venues both as a solo artist and as a co-writer in her first original band.  In her college career, Gracie was a part of a gospel choir, "Vocal Angels" who performed throughout churches in the capital region. In 2020, She received her Bachelor’s in Science at the College of Saint Rose, for Music Industry with a concentration in Piano & Songwriting. 
Gracie has taught piano, songwriting and music theory lessons to students of all ages in the Capital Region since 2018 and continues to work with others to develop their crafts. At the same time, she performs both privately and publicly across the northeast. In regards to her original music, Gracie has released her debut single “In The Night” in 2022 followed by “Love Mind” in 2023, and will continue to release singles in anticipation of the full release of her debut 12-track album “Love Mind”. Gracie is excited to be a part of Code Groove as a vocalist and keyboard player. From classical to jazz to many contemporary styles such as R&B and soul, Gracie has a massive passion for music that continues to grow! Gracie’s biggest musical influences include Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Coldplay, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin, Brandy, Chaka Khan, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Frederick Chopin, H.E.R., Hiatus Kaiyote and so on. 

Jayden Mignot

Meet Jayden Mignot, a passionate vocalist and rising star from the heart of the Adirondacks. At a young age, Jayden was infatuated with the study and creation of music. Starting at just six years old, Jayden would start learning how to read music and interpret classical piano songs by ear. Jayden's music passion would only grow in later years, performing in over 30 musical productions by the time he graduated high school. This experience, combined with over 3+ years of performing professionally as a lead vocalist, has made Jayden a name for himself as a powerhouse entertainer. With influences from artists such as James Brown, Prince, Barrington Levy, and Israel Houghton, Jayden is excited to give you a high-energy performance you'll never forget.
Michael Gilet is a rapidly growing drummer in the music scene. His 17+ years of playing, teaching, and recording are being highlighted throughout the drumming community.
hailing from down state, New York. Michael grew up enjoying the rhythmic sounds of gospel songs echoing in the church halls. As he got older, he decided to take the beat into his own hands & feet…literally! He started playing in gospel churches all across Rockland county, later expanding to the capital district. Aside of playing live, Michael is an inspirational drumming instructor, teaching children as young as 5 as well as other professional drummers. He has competed in the famed Guitar Center drum off, where he made it to the semi-finals in 2016. Recently he hosted a successful drum clinic with guitar center in august 2022. What’s next for this musician? Time will only tell!

Michael Gilet

A Canadian-born music enthusiast living in upstate New York for over 20 years, Roman Karpishka has been refining his guitar skills for over 4 decades. As a musician performing in bands since the tender age of 13, Roman has dedicated most of his musical career to the pursuit of creating, interpreting and refining folk and modern music for audiences throughout North America. A self-professed musical gear nut, Roman enjoys collecting guitars and all kinds of musical equipment to add to his studio where the band rehearses on a regular basis. As a founding member of Code Groove, Roman is very excited and proud to be part of a well-oiled funk machine whose membership is graced by some of the Capital Region’s finest musicians. Aside from his musical interests, Roman is a dedicated husband and father of three amazing children.

Roman Karpishka

Frank is a self-taught musician, performing and playing bass guitar from the age of 13 and bass synth since the age of 17. He has played in R&B, funk, fusion, dance, rock, and worship bands such as New Vision, The Project with Tony Hastings, Grace Fellowship Celebration Choir Band, and Maximus. Some events he has performed at have been at The Palace Theater, Bicentennial Festival sponsored by city of Albany and Mayor Jennings, Summer Jam Bash with Fly 92, 4th of July Festival with the city of Kingston, NY, Albany and Saratoga New Year’s Eve First Night, and Hats Off Saratoga Festival. Influential artists for Frank include Earth Wind and Fire, Prince, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Stanley Clark, and Marcus Miller to name a few, which are his favorite genre. He is excited to be surrounded by talented members of Code Groove and looks forward to what the future will bring.
